There is a nothing quite as good as a wholesome chicken soup. This is my low-crab version, still loaded with a veggies and the flavor but low in a net carbs. Chicken soup is the best if you are feeling a bit run-down and need something to the balance and restore.

INGREDIENTS

You only need to a handful of the ingredients to make a delicious low crab chicken soup:

Chicken. I am using shredded roasted chicken. This means in the soup is a ready quickly because in the meat is a already tender. It just needs to be a heated and not cooked. You can be use to a shop-bought rotisserie chicken or a leftover chicken from a homemade roast.

This is the secret to a really tasty soup. The more concentrated it is, the more flavorsome in the soup.

I roast a chicken at least twice a month and I always keep in the bones and make bone broth from them. You can be also go to your butcher and get chicken carcasses – you might even get them free!

How to make a chicken bone broth?

I made in this recipe on the stove top. However, you can be also make it in the Instant pot or a pressure cooker or in a slow cooker!

Remove it after a cooking, pick out in the bones and freeze any chicken meat you do not need for the soup.
