Very close to what it was when I would get to-go here several times a week in the 1990s. Lobster roll is perfect. Lobster bisque, jambalaya, and the other favorites all still rock. This a legit great place, not a tourist trap. They also still give you a piece of chocolate and bread and a tangerine, like Al did back in the day. Very happy to have rediscovered this little gem.Soup

Came here with high expectations and he meets it. Every spoonful of the lobster bisque has a mouthful of lobster, fresh tasting, minimal thickening agent, just good ingredients! I got an apple in the bag along with the bread, complete lunch!

Went to buy soup for my husband while he’s in the hospital and myself. Bought him a lobster bisque which he enjoyed thoroughly, I got the broccoli and cheddar soup which was not in my liking at all. It really tastes like hot nacho dip with broccoli, not to mention I found a red kidney bean in My soup which completely turned me off of even trying to get past all of the carrots🥕 and red peppers🌶️. I’ll be getting my soup from across the street from now on I think. The kidney being in my soup makes me think that maybe they don’t clean their pots thoroughly enough? Too many possibilities.

My second time back and all I have to say is, What took me so long to try it? My friend John Angel posted his soup a few days before I tried it for myself. First time I had the Lobster Bisque and my wife had the Black Bean soup. It was amazing. It’s probably been about a week and a half and I couldn’t wait to go back. Today I tried the Jambalaya (Newman voice). So good I’m going to have a hard time deciding what to order next time. I thought I was going to have the Chili soup today but is wasn’t on today’s menu. They rotate it because there are so many options for this cozy spot. Whole wheat bread, tangerine and the Andy’s chocolate mint are a great touch that’s unexpected but just adds to the experience. We can all use some extra Vit C now can’t we? Can’t wait to go back!

Best damn soup I’ve ever had! There was this guy there named John I think, it was a whole new world when he handed me the soup. He dashed over humming Disney tunes cup of steaming jambalaya in hand, without even spilling a drop. I gotta say I went for lunch, but left left with a new out look on life. I will definitely be going back!
